Creating Content for Sony

The Mobile Media Lab is in the middle of a long-term project with Sony Electronics, as talented photographers around the US create product shots for Sony to use on social media. We believe creating compelling, original content on Instagram is just as important as likes and follows. In the latest installment, SF-based photographer Daniel Waldron created 50 images for Sony, and shared these two images below on his own Instagram feed.

Brian Heads West with @VisitOakland

This past weekend, our co-founder Brian DiFeo was invited by Oakland’s Tourism Board to explore the city and experience it’s popularity as a hot spot that rivals “that city across the bay.” Brian and his girlfriend went on an Edible Excursions Tour of the Temescal neighborhood, visited museums, murals, and other city landmarks, and saw the Athletic’s beat the Yankees (he’s a Mets fan). At the end of the trip, Brian connected with the local Instagram community for a sunset walk around Lake Merritt

Mextures Reaches #4 in the App Store

Mextures, an all in one photo editing app for iPhone, reached #4 in the paid photo/video category in the App Store after a month long campaign with the Mobile Media Lab from April 7 to May 9.

An additional layer to the typical app promotion was having 5 of the influencers share a blog post on how they edited their photos using Mextures, available only through the Mextures App - driving more users to learn the tips and tricks of their favorite Instagrammers by downloading the app.

Working with 16 of the most photo-edit savvy users in the Network, our campaign reached over 3.4 million Instagram users and generated over 90,000 likes as we were able to drive awareness of the release of the new version of the Mextures app. On top of the impressive showing in the App Store, @Mextures gained over 10,000 new followers! Ann Taylor Follower Growth

Last month we had 6 influential Instagrammers from our network promote the Ann Taylor Instagram account. This graph show the follower growth that spiked during the project: our client added over 3,000 followers in less than 10 days!

Promoting Vision for Kids with OneSight

We recently sent a 6 of popular Instagrammers to a public school in Brooklyn to work with OneSight, a non-profit organization bringing access to vision care to people all around the world. They set up a mobile vision testing center in order to provide free tests and eyeglasses for a bunch of students. They’ve got a great mission and we were really happy to spread the awareness for them! In addition to generating hundreds of new followers and thousands of interactions, they shared some pretty cool photos too:

Anthony Working with Chivas Regal

Anthony Danielle, our co-founder, was asked by Chivas Regal to attend and photograph the TIME 100 Most Influential People at Time Warner Center. He sat at a table of celebrities and stood front for the Pharrell show! But this is our favorite shot of the night:

Celebrating Earth Day with Rodales

#LittleBlackDressed with @AnnTaylor

Last week we worked with @AnnTaylor by having 6 popular fashion photographers  share photos using the hashtag #LittleBlackDressed that featured a new line of black dresses designed by Kate Hudson. Collectively these 6 Instagrammers reached over 1.1 million Instagram users, and their 12 photos received over 100,000 likes. Beats Audio App Campaign

MML and the new Beats Audio App recently worked with 6 instagrammers, having each post 5 photos to drive downloads of beatsmusic.
